Setsuo Kano (画号 Whoda)
1952年、日本出身の芸術家。2020年5月1日より「Whoda」の画号で創作活動を開始。古今東西の人類が作り上げてきた叡智に宿った物語、宇宙観を昇華させる作品群を展開。「一人一人が固有に持つ“個の宇宙”を、“今、最大限に”人のためにつかう」という、日本が本来持っていた精神性を訴え、見る者が、自分の世界を想像し、行動し、事実を作り上げて行くことを切に願い、活動を展開する。

Setsuo Kano (Pseudonym “Whoda”)
Born in Japan, 1952. He has started his creative activities from May 1, 2020, with pseudonym of Whoda. A group of works sublimate the visions of cosmos and fables that dwelling in wisdom created by humankind in the east and west.
By wishing the viewers’ sincere devotive actions in life with his/ her imaginations inspired by the artworks, the artist’s creative journey continues.
